Ruins
An artist book intricately printed on letterpress that presents an ode to the ruins within the poem. The book accordions to create a half-sunken column with an inscription on the spine, and pays homage to the meaning of Ozymandias via the lifecycle of the letterpress as a tool. Whereas the poem explores the idea of impermanence, the letterpress fonts and symbols are cast of lead, leading them to disfigure and decay through use.
