Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds

Project Requirement: Illustrate the two Beatles songs “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” and “I am the Walrus” in at least three different images with a common theme.

 Concept: Created a set of 80 unique “tarot” cards split across two color themes based on the ambiguity of the songs. The cards each have a different song lyric, with symbolized letters representing the lyrics. Subtle notches are used as an organization system, and denote the lyrics’ place and frequency of occurrence in the song.
